Double-float Type Gas Relay

Double-float type gas relay is a kind of safety protection device for oil-
immersed transformer and oil-immersed on-load tap-changer. It is installed in
the connecting pipe between tank cover and conservator of the transformer. It
can be installed with air exhausting pipe and air intake box to realize exhaust
sampling on the ground. When internal faults of the transformer cause the
insulation liquid to decompose into gas or result in oil flow surge, the contacts of the gas relay actuate to connect specified circuit, so as to send electrical signals in time or cut off the power equipment automatically; when the transformer has   leakage or accumulates a large amount of unknown gas and causes the liquid
level in the gas relay to drop continuously, the lower float drives the contact action and sends an alarm or tripping command in time to protect the safe   operation of electrical equipment.
